Lisa has been living with Type 1 Diabetes for over 40 years. After surviving breast cancer in 2010, she felt called to help others in their journey toward health. Her passions are talking about the mind/body connection, and helping people heal their relationship with food.

I am a Mind Body Eating Coach certified by the Institute for the Psychology of Eating. I am also a Functional Diagnostic Nutrition Practitioner (FDN-P) which allows me to perform certain lab tests to help identify overall healing opportunities in the body. This allows me to focus on the complete Mind and Body continuum when addressing many unwanted habits and symptoms. I have a passion for this work as I myself have two bad copies of the MTHFR gene which impacts the methylation pathway and can impact ones health and immune system if not addressed. Epigenetics is the study relating to non-genetic influences on gene expression. This is an exciting area as it clearly indicates we are not necessarily a victim to the genes we were born with. I work with professional women who are struggling with their eating habits, no matter how extreme or insignificant they may feel it is. This may be anything from binge eating, secret eating, stress eating, chronic dieting to simply being out of touch with eating habits.
