Finding balance in a fast-paced world where we never seem to be enough, have enough, or do enough can be overwhelming. Putting the needs of others ahead of our own can provide opportunities to avoid the conversations that spin around in our minds: children, family, career, volunteer commitments can all provide wonderful avenues of escape from spending time on self. While these are all important aspects of our lives that deserve love and attention, you are the most important piece in the puzzle of your life. You want to help others, be there for others? Help yourself first!

Shelagh brings more than 20 years of experience in living with food allergies and sensitivities for both herself, her children and friends. Having ebbed and flowed through tightly restricted diets, over-eating, weight gains and losses, depression and anxiety, she is learning to better understand the positive impacts of the principles of Dynamic Eating Psychology and Mind Body Nutrition.
