Shannon Dahlum

For many years, my terrible relationship with food and my body consumed me. I punished myself with over-exercise and deprivation to try and force my body to change, and was only left with shame and feelings of failure.
I finally discovered there was nothing wrong with my body; it was responding appropriately to the punishment I was giving it. I learned to work with my body’s physiology to gently encourage healthy energy production, and how to stop inadvertently triggering energy storage by over-stressing my system. Managing the stress load on my body changed everything for me, and it became my passion to help others do the same.
I’m a nutrition and eating psychology coach, personal trainer, and gym owner. I’ve been helping women get their lives back by ending their intense challenges surrounding food and body weight since 2009.
