Ruth Salmon

Food, nourishment and body awareness have played a central role in Ruth’s life. For years, the relationship was one of love/hate – personal challenges with disordered eating and negative body image were combined with a passion for food, nutrition and cooking. The importance of food in her life led her to enroll in Home Economics at University, where academic training augmented her personal and family life experiences. Ruth went on to hold senior management positions in the food industry in Canada. As a coach, she integrates these life and career experiences with her training in eating psychology, mind/body nutrition, and depth psychology. For Ruth, a nourishing relationship with food and body has opened her to a more vital experience of living. It is her passion to awaken this same experience in others.
Ruth resides in Parksville, British Columbia.
