My life purpose centers around the wisdom of Hippocrates; “Let food be thy medicine and medicine be thy food.” If people felt more comfortable in their bodies, they would treat each other better and there would be more peace in the world. I received my initial nutrition education at Bauman College in Northern California. I hold certificates in Nutrition Education and Nutrition Consulting. It was there that I learned about nutrition in a one dimensional way. I also earned a BA degree at UCLA. It wasn’t until I studied at The Institute for the Psychology of Eating that I learned how multi-dimensional the whole field of nutrition is. Food is related to every aspect of our lives – physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual. This opened up a very large area of awareness for me, to the point where I know I can really help people get where they want to go, wherever that may be.
