Barb Bovell provides diet and lifestyle solutions for women who seek to experience a state of optimum health and well-being as they age.
Barb is a Certified Mind Body Eating Coach, Functional Nutrition and Lifestyle Practitioner, Functional Nutrition Counselor and Educator, Holistic Lifestyle Coach, Culinary Nutrition Expert and Educator, Professional Chef, Certified Fitness Trainer, and Corrective Exercise Specialist. She also has an M.A (Sociology) from Queens University and a B. A (Spanish Language) from the University of Guelph.
She uses the multiple perspectives of her training to get to the root cause/s of and resolve digestive and other health issues, weight issues, and undesirable lifestyle habits that lead to a compromised quality of life.
As a woman who “walks her talk” Barb has learnt that sound nutrition and lifestyle practices are key to maintaining the quality of her life as she ages.
She is passionate about sharing this knowledge with other women and has done so for the past ten years.
Born on the small island of Tobago (Trinidad and Tobago) in the Caribbean, and educated in Barbados and Canada, this mother of three young adults now calls Vancouver Island home.
