Having grown up Italian, my mother from Calabria, food has always been a big part of my life. Food was always present, there was always too much and I was taught to eat eat eat! My eating habits, unguided, developed into body image issues and eating disorders. Seemingly forever confused about my relationship with food. I needed to make the change.
Nurturing an awareness of my body’s needs, and with exercise, I developed mindful eating habits in order to live balanced and healthy.
I have my bachelors degree in Food and Nutrition and am certified in Psychology of Eating, from the Institute of Eating Psychology.
My goal is to empower and educate men and women of all ages that suffer from eating issues, chronic dieting, and body image issues.
