Sarah Maraval
After many years working in the advertising industry, I embarked for California to study the art of plant-based nutrition at Matthew Kenney’s prestigious Los Angeles academy. Here I fell in love with organic products and natural ingredients, realizing that when cooked in the right way, they feed not only the body but also the soul. Returning to Portugal, I created “The Green Chef” brand under whose helm I consulted, gave workshops and lectures, and also worked as a guest chef at various restaurants, hotels, and events.
During this time people started approaching me seeking advice regarding what to eat and their own unique food and body challenges. Having faced my own challenges with nutrition, I felt it was time to get a better understanding of how to help myself and others. This is when I became a certified Mind Body Eating Coach at the Institute for the Psychology of Eating and I am now helping people to feel more empowered in their body and food choices.
