I am a psychologist and sociologist by training and I have worked as a researcher focusing on gender equality and the position of women in society for nearly two decades. I have been in psychological training to be a therapist in Analytical Psychology since 2020. I myself have been suffering from an eating disorder for many years and have experienced several setbacks in my journey to a healthy and free life. I have left academia to be able to fully recover and heal my ongoing challenging relationship with my body. I recognized the role of food and nutrition on health as a young person and became a Registered and Licensed Dietitian. I am certainly very grateful for my training but eventually felt a need to explore beyond this realm alone to address my patients (and my own) needs.
